Route Options:
24 Mile - Family Fun Ride Route Map (pdf)

The 24 mile option is considered the Family Ride with mild rolling hills with no major climbs.  You will ride out in the Burningtown Area and enjoy beautiful mountain backdrops and amazing scenery.  There will be fully stocked rest stop at approximately mile 10, there is also optional "bailout" at mile 10 which reduces the route to 16 miles. 
62 Mile - Cycling Ride Route Map (pdf)

63 mile option is a little more challenging with approximately 4000' of climbing.  Ride will tour out Hwy 28 into the Cowee Community and follows alongside the Little Tennessee River into the Burningtown area.  There area a few climbs that will get your attention, including climbing backside of Skeenah.  There will be fully stocked rest stops at mile 24 and mile 51.

100 Mile - Cycling Ride Route  Map(pdf)
100 mile option is one of the most challenging rides in Macon County with over 10000' of climbing.  Ride begins up Standing Indian which is approximately 5 mile climb.  Then you proceed to Wayah Climb which will get your heart pounding and lungs screaming for air.  The 20 mile descent is quite enjoyable.  You will travel alongside the Nantahala River and turn on to Hwy 28 and travels alongside the Little Tennessee River. There will be fully stocked rest stops at mile 28, 55 and 82. 

The 5K and 10K runs will each begin at the Little Tennessee River Greenway in downtown Franklin. A paved and gravel path that parallels the river, the Greenway route is relatively flat throughout. The cost of the run is $20.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 10K until 5/15/10 and $5.00 additional thereafter.

The Ruby Ride is intended to suite all levels of cyclists. The ride consists of rolling country roads and testy hill climbs to challenge all  riders.
